SOLE GUIDE
From the traditional, fine, hand-crafted leather sole to the studded rubber sole, Crockett & Jones has a sole for almost every occasion. The English shoe brand uses the Goodyear method to provide greater comfort, durability and ease of sole repair if necessary.

HAND GRADE LEATHER SOLE
These soles, created exclusively for the shoes in the Hand Grade collection, are made using a slow tanning process that improves the leather's fibres and flexibility. A group of specialised craftsmen then stitches them in hidden channels, dyes them by hand and finally polishes them for a perfect, long-lasting finish.

LEATHER SOLE
Made from the finest leathers, our leather soles are tanned by skilled craftsmen to strengthen the leather and achieve greater durability. These soles are sewn into a groove visible from the bottom of the shoe and then individually trimmed to the last. Once trimmed, they are hand-dyed and polished with wax.
