SOLE GUIDE

From the fine, traditional Leather Sole, channelled for Hand Grade finesse to the over-sized Cleated Rubber sole, there is a sole for almost every occasion. New technologies continue to become available, enabling us to further develop our shoes & boots, blending new soles with our tried and tested Goodyear welted construction method, to suit our customers everyday needs with comfort, durability, repairability and style at its core.

HAND GRADE LEATHER SOLE

Our men’s soles for Hand Grade shoes are produced with a traditional, slow bark tannage which improves the fibres and enhances flexibility. For extra finesse, the soles are stitched in concealed channels, hand stained, and polished on the last by our skilled craftsmen.

LEATHER SOLE

All our men’s leather soles are cut from the highest quality hides and have a strong tannage for extra durability. The soles are stitched in a groove, so that the stitching is visible from the underside of the shoe. After stitching, the soles are individually trimmed on the last, hand stained, and wax polished.
